House rules indoor sports
To ensure that sports activities are safe, enjoyable, and responsible for everyone, a number of house rules apply in the municipal sports facilities. These rules apply to all users and visitors.

- You are responsible for opening and closing the facility yourself.
- Storing bicycles or other vehicles inside is not allowed (except for (electric) wheelchairs)
- You may only use the facility during your reserved time (this includes setup and breakdown).
- Only use the part of the hall or room you have rented.
- Keep windows and doors closed during use.
- Staff members of Maastricht Sport may enter the facility at any time after showing identification. Please follow their instructions.
- Make sure you can always show your booking confirmation.

- You may use the changing rooms from 30 minutes before to 30 minutes after your sports time.
- Leave valuables at home or keep them under supervision.

- Only wear shoes designed for indoor use on the sports floor..
- Shoes worn outdoors or that leave marks/dirt are not permitted.
- Clothing or accessories that can cause damage to the facility are not allowed.

- Set up sports equipment yourself and put everything back afterward.
- Only use materials from the open storage area.
- If applicable, lower divider walls before use and raise them afterward.
- Do not overload the floor beyond its technical limits. Point loads or sliding loads (e.g., from furniture or equipment) are not allowed.

- Keep emergency exits and escape routes clear at all times.
- Only use emergency exits and fire extinguishers in case of an actual emergency.
- In case of emergency: evacuate the facility, provide assistance (such as first aid), and contact emergency services.
- Bring your own first aid kit and phone (these are not available in the accommodation).
- Report unauthorized presence of third parties immediately by phone to Maastricht Sport.
- Activities that cause environmental pollution are prohibited.
- Flammable, explosive, or strongly smelling substances are not allowed.

- It is not permitted to consume food or drinks (except for water, sports drinks, energy bars, etc.) in the sports facilities.
- Selling food or drinks in the sports areas is strictly prohibited, including by external companies.

- All sports facilities are completely smoke-free (including e-cigarettes and shisha).
- The use or possession of alcohol and drugs is strictly prohibited.

- You may use basic sound equipment as long as it does not disturb others inside or outside the building.
- Loud music is not allowed.

- Pets are not allowed in the facilities.
- Exception: guide dogs and other certified assistance dogs.

- Use of coffee machines, lighting systems, heating equipment, or other electrical devices is not allowed without permission.
- Posting (light) advertising, name signs, posters, or announcements is not permitted.
- Commercial recordings (photo, video, radio, TV) are not allowed without prior written approval.

- Always leave the facility clean and tidy, and make sure everything is put away.
- Store all equipment properly or return it to its storage position.
- Do not leave any materials behind.
- Do not leave more than 10 liters of waste in the designated bins.
- In case of manual lighting, you should switch it off again.
- Ensure all windows and doors are properly closed.
Do you break the rules or cause damage to a sports facility? Then you risk a fine.
