House rules sports activities

To ensure that our activities are safe, enjoyable, and conducted in a sporting manner, we ask participants, parents, and spectators to adhere to our house rules.

    • During our activities, the rules of the specific location apply. All participants and spectators must follow the house rules of the sports facility or external venue. These can be found at www.maastrichtsport.nl/house-rules or at the location itself.
    • Be friendly and respectful toward other parents, children, staff members, and volunteers.
    • Discrimination, swearing, or aggression will not be tolerated.
    • Encourage everyone in a positive manner, not just your own child or acquaintances.
    • No shouting, criticism, or giving instructions from the sidelines. Leave this to the coaches and supervisors.
    • Stay behind barriers or in designated spectator areas.
    • Only wear footwear intended for indoor use at indoor sports locations. Shoes that have been worn outdoors or leave marks/dirt are not allowed.
    • Do not wear clothing or accessories that could cause harm to other participants or damage the facility.
    • Keep walkways and emergency exits clear.
    • Use emergency exits and fire extinguishers only in emergencies.
    • Always follow the instructions of the organization, volunteers, and supervisors.
    • Report unsafe situations or inappropriate behavior to the organization immediately.
    • Set your phone to silent mode.
    • Filming and photography are allowed for personal use only
    • Always ask permission if other people appear in the images. For children under the age of 16, you must have the consent of their parents or guardians.
    • During Maastricht Sport activities, photos and/or videos may be taken for use on our website, social media, or printed materials. If you do not give permission for this, please notify the organization or the responsible person on site in advance.
    • Most sports facilities are completely smoke-free (including e-cigarettes and shisha). Smoking is only allowed in designated areas.
    • The use or possession of alcohol and drugs is prohibited.
    • Have you registered but can't attend? Please inform your contact person.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation! Together, we ensure a safe and sporting atmosphere where everyone can enjoy being active.
