House rules outdoor sports
To ensure that sports activities are safe, enjoyable, and responsible for everyone, a number of house rules apply in the municipal sports facilities. These rules apply to all users and visitors.

- Make arrangements in advance with Maastricht Sport or the regular tenant of the sports park regarding opening or closing.
- You may only use the facility during your reserved time slot (this includes setup and breakdown).
- Only use the field(s) you have rented.
- Follow the rules for (artificial) grass turf.
- Maastricht Sport staff may enter the premises at any time after showing identification. Follow their instructions.
- Make sure you can always show your booking confirmation.

- You may use the changing rooms from 30 minutes before until 30 minutes after your sports time.
- In the case of manual lighting, you switch it on and off yourself.
- Leave valuables at home or keep them under supervision.
- Parking bicycles or other vehicles inside is not allowed (except for (electric) wheelchairs).
- Keep escape routes and emergency exits clear.
- Use emergency exits and fire extinguishers only in case of emergency.
- In case of emergency: evacuate the premises, provide assistance (such as first aid), and alert emergency services.

Shoes, clothing, or accessories that can cause damage to the facility are prohibited.

- Bring your own first aid kit and phone (these are not provided).
- Report unauthorized third-party presence immediately by phone to Maastricht Sport.
- Actions that cause environmental pollution are prohibited.
- Flammable, explosive, or strongly smelling substances are prohibited.

- It is not permitted to consume food or drinks (except for water, sports drinks, energy bars, etc.) in the sports facilities.
- Selling food or drinks in the sports areas is strictly prohibited, including by external companies.

- Sportpark Geusselt-Noord en West are completely smoke-free (including e-cigarettes and shisha).
- The use or possession of alcohol and drugs is strictly prohibited.

- You may use simple sound equipment as long as it does not cause a nuisance to others nearby.
- Loud music is not allowed.

- Pets are not allowed in the facilities.
- Exception: guide dogs and other certified assistance dogs.

- Bring your own sports equipment.
- Posting (light) advertising, name signs, posters, or announcements is not permitted.
- Commercial recordings (photo, video, radio, TV) are not allowed without prior written approval.

- Always leave the facility clean and tidy.
- Do not leave any materials behind.
- Lights must be off between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
Do you break the rules or cause damage to a sports facility? Then you risk a fine.
